Amanda Hack Wishes Constituents a Merry Christmas
The festive season is here, and I’d like to send best wishes to you and your loved ones. Christmas is a time to reflect and share in the love of family and friends while remembering those who are no longer with us.
Being your Member of Parliament is an honour for which I am deeply grateful. So far, it’s been an exhilarating experience. Since my election in July, I’ve received over 10,000 inquiries and comments. Responding to your requests for help and championing North West Leicestershire at Westminster are my top priorities. Thank you to everyone who has been in touch.
Over the last five months, I’ve held nineteen constituency surgeries and attended more than one hundred local meetings and events. I’m pleased to report that my office is now fully staffed, and I have a dedicated team here in the constituency to support your needs.
I’m working to improve public transport, clean up our waterways, and secure more accessible health services. I will keep advocating for the resources needed to enhance well-being in our towns and villages. Please share your experiences and ideas so we can deliver the change North West Leicestershire needs.
As we look to 2025, I want to build strong communities where we support each other and face the inevitable challenges together. I will listen to your hopes and expectations, and, whilst I cannot make every wish come true, I promise to work diligently on your behalf.
You can contact me via [email protected] or by post at 109 Belvoir Road, Coalville, LE67 3PH.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

Busted for not obeying a sign he couldn’t see !
Today, I received notification from Leicestershire County Council that Diamond Buses intend to cancel the 129 service from Ashby to Loughborough and the 125 service from Castle Donington to Leicester (via Coalville).
I am extremely concerned about the impact of these changes, and I am in the process of seeking urgent clarity from Leicestershire County Council to understand if and how they will be replaced.
As a Government, we have provided an additional £8m for Leicestershire County Council to support bus services, and I will be working with colleagues to ensure that our communities feel every penny of this funding in the areas that need it the most. (You can find more information on this in the comments section)
I want to understand what impact this could have on you, please get in touch here: www.amandahack.com/campaigns/bus-services-129-and-125/
